Model Governance Transformation
Asteriqx Consulting served as overall delivery lead, partnering with SAS and Accenture to design and implement a comprehensive AI/ML Model Governance framework for SCB DataX. The programme enabled enterprise-wide governance of traditional models, machine learning, and GenAI — aligned to regulatory expectations and Responsible AI principles. Delivered in two strategic phases, it established both the governance foundation and the technology integration needed to govern AI at scale within SCBX Group.
- Developed enterprise-wide AI Policy, MRM Policy, and AI Governance Standards

Asteriqx Consulting acted as the end-to-end delivery lead throughout the engagement, working closely with SAS and Accenture across both phases. Our responsibilities covered governance strategy and policy design, Model Ops and MRM workflow implementation, platform integration across Azure AI, Databricks, and SAS MRM, and stakeholder alignment between business, risk, and technology teams.
We ensured that the programme remained coherent and on-track from initial framework design through to final platform handover — bridging the gap between governance intent and technical execution.
The project was successfully completed in February 2026, positioning SCB DataX as a leader in AI governance, model risk management, and Responsible AI adoption in ASEAN — with a fully integrated, cloud-native governance ecosystem capable of scaling across the entire SCBX Group.
